"Had a chance to play at Manhattan Country Club (MCC) last week. Here’s some observations I had for those that are interested: Golf Course: Exceeded Expectations – While not the longest course, it was challenging in that it was very undulated and the fairways were narrow. However, I was surprised that the fairways were wider than I expected, which was welcomed while playing. Because of the trees lining the holes, wind is not a big factor like in other courses in the area, and the views of the city are second to none for Manhattan! I also happened to play during a hot dry spell weather wise, and the course exhibited no effects of that, which shows the staff there take good care of the course. Club House/Restaurant: Underrated – The clubhouse is nicer inside than it initially appears on the outside. The restaurant has some of the best views you can find in Manhattan, golf course included! Atmosphere: Excellent – I had heard mixed reviews before playing MCC, but I was welcomed by friendly members, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall, I had a great time and would recommend the club to anyone who is looking for a good country club to join!."

“I thought I would let you know what a delightful time I had at the MCC Ladies’ Member-Guest Tournament. Even though I’ve been a member for over 40 years, this was my first time to play in this particular tournament! After many years of teaching, then retirement, I just didn’t ever find someone to ask to play with me. I know there was a lot going on at the Club yesterday, but it seemed to work smoothly. I heard a lot of positive comments about the shape of the course, fun format, great weather and breakfasts. Congratulations on a job well done.”
